Hey, I’m Carina, the nail artist behind Tip Tease Nailz. My love for nails actually started during the pandemic. Like everyone else, I watched people start doing their own nails at home and, of course, I had to jump on the bandwagon too and like any ADHDer I dove head first. Watching hours of youtube videos and teaching myself everything I could possible soak up. What started as me simply doing my own nails quickly turned into doing sets for friends, experimenting with different designs, and realizing that I genuinely loved creating tiny pieces of art. And just like that another "phase" I didn't grow out of. Over the next five years, my love for nails continued to grow in the background while I worked my corporate job. Then life threw me a plot twist. I was let go from that career after 10 yrs, and instead of seeing it as the end of something, I decided it was finally time to take a chance on something I had grown to love. I enrolled in nail school, put in the work, and officially became a licensed nail technician in January 2026. Tip Tease Nailz grew from that leap. I wanted to create more than somewhere to get your nails done. I wanted a private, one-on-one space where you can relax, be yourself, bring me your wild nail ideas, and leave feeling a little more confident than when you walked in.
